Business Central Member Briefing
The Member Briefing is a free, Business Central Members only event designed to give you a snap shot of the local and national business climate.
This year brings a renewed vision to the Briefings. We'll be focusing on the issues closest to you, on forecast data that covers your region specifically and on real world examples that relate directly to you as an employer.
For the first time we will be introducing our resident Health and Safety Trainer, Martin Laurs. He has a clear, example driven approach and will be there to answer your H&S questions.
The Employment Law section of the Briefing will be presented by a local Business Central consultant. They know the issues prevalent in your region and will be referring to a recent case in your vicinity to bring the abstract into the real world.
New for this year as well, we are reserving time in each Briefing for a dedicated Q&A session. Our three presenters will be on stage to answer your questions on the economy, employment law, H&S, and any other topic that is close to the heart of your business.
Presentation topics will include:
- Economic developments
- Regional highlights
- Political updates
- Employment law changes
- Changes to health and safety policy
- Closing with a Q&A
If you are an employer, business owner, department manager, working in HR or anyone managing staff – you can't afford to miss this member only benefit.

Ben Warren Presents 'What's Your Health Story?'
The current one size fits all approach to health and wellness is failing many of us. Ben believes this is because a crucial step to long term health and wellbeing is too often being missed. It is not acknowledging YOU and YOUR personal health story.
We are all unique. Our genetics, our environment, our lifestyles and our emotional wellbeing are all different.
Because of this there is not one diet, one exercise regime, one nutritional programme or one lifestyle that works for all. Your health story is unique to you, and in this so are the solutions to your health concerns.
Ben Warren’s 'What's Your Health Story Tour' is a truly unique experience, providing audience members the chance to actively engage with Ben. Throughout the evening you will discover your personal health story and leave empowered, with a strong understanding of what actions you can take to live life with optimal health, energy and happiness.

- Where witches and taniwha try to eat little girls and little girls turn into little boys. Welcome to the terrific, wonderful and magical show of Anika Moa and the Chop Chop Hiyaaa! Tour,
This is a show that will take you on a furious ride alongside unwelcome hungry animals, a rat that loves to chop chop under the moonlight and a witch who may or may not cook a girl in her witchy stew. (Not for the faint hearted!)
Moa says Songs For Bubbas was born out of long nights, long car drives and long temper tantrums from her three boys. “Initially I sang to them as a way to calm or amuse them, and now two astoundingly successful albums later, I continue to tell them stories, sing them māori waiata and teach them through music."
It’s Rainin’ Men!
Operatunity is blessed with several incredible young men who sing fabulously, move wonderfully and are very easy on the eye! We bring you these young men in a new show entitled It’s Rainin’ Men. The show will be an ensemble feast of harmonies, rhythm and movement. The men will highlight songs made famous by the famous original ‘boy bands’ including Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons, The Beatles, The Platters, Everly Brothers, and crossover artists like Il Divo, Andrea Bocelli and Josh Grobin.
Songs include My Way, It’s Rainin’ Men, O Happy Day, YMCA, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, My Eyes Adore You, Let it Be, Bohemian Rhapsody, Lux Aeterna, The Impossible Dream, You Raise Me Up, and Somewhere to name but a few!
